As I said yesterday, the whole purpose of this cross-continent trip was to ensure that our “stuff” was received and stored properly for the day it can all find a new home in Newbury, New Hampshire. Sure enough, the whole thing took about 2 hours to complete and without issue. I’m heading to a hotel near Logan Airport in Boston for an early flight tomorrow morning in 15 minutes. One thing down of many in this adventure.
This last month or so has been very bittersweet, almost certainly seeing and doing things for the last time. The Pacific Northwest — Montival — has been my home for 47 years, which is crazy to me. Driving around here and taking walks in between work, however, I know this is the right decision for us, at least for right now. New Hampshire is amazing.
