It’s been a long day of sun and water, and we have an early departure for Montana tomorrow, so I’ll keep things brief. After a quick trip over to the theme park side of things, we spent the rest of the day at Boulder Beach, the water park connected to Silverwoods. A great time was had by all, I think, with our favorite ride being Avalanche Mountain, a huge, dark ride that the whole family can participate in. Basically it’s like a huge water slide, but you get in a raft and go down an enclosed huge tube. Super fun!
We picked up Tigli at the overnight kennel after our day at the park and she was not happy. Some dogs are good with kennels, I think. I honestly don’t think that she ever will be.
We had dinner at Capone’s Pub & Grill (the girls wanted pizza, and they allowed dogs in the outside seating, so win/win). I found out that it had been featured on Guy Fieri’s Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives on Season 10. Nice.
We’re off at about 7AM tomorrow for points east! Next up is Big Timber / Greycliff KOA Journey, about 6 hours away. Long day coming!
