Barbershops

Yesterday, I received the best haircut I’ve had in a long, long time, at Goodfellow’s Tonsorial Parlor in White Salmon. They opened up about two months ago at the location of the old Enterprise building (ah, local newspapers, rest in peace). This is the Real Thing, a throw back to barbers that know how to cut a man’s hair and make them look better than they have any right to. It’s crazy to me how hard it is to find a good barber, and this has been the case my entire life. HairM in the Portland area was pretty good, but I suspect that only another man really knows how to cut a man’s hair.
